- Before washing
Read the care label for specific instructions.

Empty all pockets and fasten all zippers, Velcro, and other closures.

Treat heavily soiled areas or stains with a pre-treatment or a stain remover like gall soap before washing, letting it sit for about 30 minutes before rinsing.

Wash inside out to protect the fabric and coatings.

- Washing
Use a technical cleaner specifically made for outdoor or technical gear; avoid regular detergents, fabric softeners, or bleach.

Use a small amount of liquid detergent sparingly.

Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle in cool or cold water

Use a low spin speed to prevent damage.

Run an extra rinse cycle to ensure all detergent is removed, which could otherwise reduce water repellency.
Wash ski clothing separately from other clothes, or only wash 1–2 items of technical gear at a time to ensure a thorough clean.

- After washing
Remove the garment from the washing machine immediately after the cycle is finished to prevent musty odors.

Air dry the garment completely; do not use a clothes dryer, as high heat can damage the fabric and coatings.

Avoid drying directly in sunlight, which can cause color degradation.

If the care label allows, you can use a cool iron on a low setting to smooth wrinkles.

Once dry, if the garment's water repellency is diminished, apply a waterproofing spray or treatment to restore it.

- Storage
Store ski wear in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Hang the suit or lay it flat to maintain its shape and prevent wrinkles.

Avoid packing the suit tightly into bags, which can compress the insulation and loft.
