Washing and Cleaning
Improperly washing ski suits can damage the fabric's waterproof and windproof properties. Therefore, it's important to follow these steps:

Read the label carefully: Always check the care instructions on the ski suit's tag first to ensure that the specific material used isn't damaged.

Prepare before washing:
Empty all pockets.
Zipper and fasten all Velcro fasteners.
For specific stains, such as grease, use a gentle stain remover before washing.
Turn the ski suit inside out before washing to protect the outer fabric.

Use the appropriate detergent:
Use a detergent specifically designed for technical fabrics (such as Nikwax Tech Wash).
Avoid powder detergents, bleach, and fabric softeners, as they can clog fibers and reduce the fabric's waterproofing.
Use a small amount of detergent and perhaps a double rinse cycle to ensure no detergent residue remains.

Wash settings:
Select a gentle cycle. Or use a gentle cycle (Delicate) at cool or warm water (no more than 30 degrees Celsius).
Set the spin speed to the lowest setting (maximum 800 rpm).
Do not wash ski suits with regular clothing.

Drying
Drying or drying ski suits is just as important as washing them to help preserve the fabric's condition and properties.
Drying: Hang them in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources such as heaters.
Drying: If the label indicates dryability, dry them on a low or medium setting. Drying helps activate the water repellent (DWR) coating on the fabric. For insulated suits, add 2-3 clean tennis balls to the dryer to help prevent clumping of the inner fibers.
Drying Check: Allow the suit to dry completely before storing to prevent mold and odors.

Re-Waterproofing
Over time, the DWR coating on ski suits will gradually deteriorate. This can be observed by water no longer dripping onto the fabric surface, but instead seeping into the fabric.
Test: Sprinkle water on the ski suit. If water doesn't drip like a lotus leaf, it's time for a new waterproof coating.
Product Selection: You can choose a wash-in or spray-on waterproofing product.
Pre-Cleaning: Remove all dirt from your skis before re-coating.
Following Instructions: Read and follow the product instructions carefully.
Storage

At the end of the ski season, store your skis properly to maintain their condition.
Cleaning and Drying: Ensure your skis are completely dry before storing.
Storage Selection: Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Loose Storage: Store your skis by hanging or folding them loosely in a well-ventilated garment bag (a sealed plastic bag is not recommended). Over-compression can damage the waterproof membrane.
Avoid Vacuum-Packing: Vacuum-packing your skis should not be done, as this can damage the insulation and cause them to lose their shape.
